Utter Therapeutics

We helped this biotech startup ditch their AI-generated logo and build a brand foundation that actually reflects their innovative approach—giving them the visual credibility to command attention in investor meetings and beyond.

The Challenge

Utter Therapeutics came to us with a classic startup problem: an AI-generated logo that looked like, well, an AI-generated logo. As a biotech company preparing for serious investor conversations, they needed a brand that could hold its own in the room and translate seamlessly across presentations and materials.

The bigger challenge? Standing out in a sea of biotech blue while building something that felt both cutting-edge and trustworthy.

How we helped

Strategy That Makes Sense We helped Utter think beyond just "making a logo" to building a brand foundation for their next growth phase. This meant:

Breaking free from tired biotech conventions (goodbye, generic blue)

Creating a visual identity that works now and scales for the future

Developing something distinctly theirs—because in biotech, being memorable matters

Creative That Connects Our exploration focused on concepts that felt innovative without being intimidating. We played with ideas around transformation and connectivity—themes that resonated with their scientific approach while staying approachable for different audiences down the road.

The real magic happened in the details: making sure everything from investor decks to future patient materials would feel cohesive and intentional.

The impact

Utter now has a brand that actually represents who they are and where they're going. Instead of an AI afterthought, they have a thoughtful visual system that helps them command attention in investor meetings and positions them for whatever comes next.

Most importantly, they have a brand they can be proud of—one that reflects their innovative thinking and sets them up to make the kind of impact they're working toward in biotech.

Sometimes the best branding happens before anyone's watching. We're excited to see where Utter goes next.
