What to expect
The Project Manager role will work to remove any team or project obstacles while creating a fun and efficient environment. You will help support client and internal project kickoffs. This is a contractor role and will start part-time (20-25 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time W2 employee.

What you'll do
- Manage 8+ small to large projects at the same time.
- Strategically plan and build project lifecycles using phases and milestones for developing digital products.
- Contribute to design and development quality and process by understanding their quality standards and common terms.
- Work within fundamental Project Management skills such as Agile, Traditional Management PMBOK, and Kanban.
- Manage complex conversations while managing the “room” as needed.
- You’ll ensure projects hit their milestones and established timelines by working with the production team to keep them on track so they can focus on the work.
- Understand project budgets to identify wins to celebrate and opportunities to course-correct to avoid project fires.
- The success of the role will be measured by projects on time, in budget, and keeping client satisfaction scores of 8+.
You have
- Experience managing 7-12 projects ranging in budget, different project types, and scope sizes.
- Proven record in successfully managing and understanding digital project lifecycles.
- Ability to contribute to design, dev quality, and process by understanding their standards.
- Knowledge of fundamental Project Management skills such as Agile, Traditional Management, and Kanban.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Asana (the current tool Underbelly subscribes to), Jira, Trello, or Monday.
- Ability to have and manage complex conversations while managing the “room” as needed.
- A great attitude – you’re one of our main faces to a client.
