Students, teachers, and administrators at Granite Technical Institute (GTI)

Business objectives

The Granite Technical Institute (GTI) intends to attract students and improve marketing engagement through creating a 60 second promotional video along with accompanying media assets. Investing in quality media is critical to the success of the college.

Problem Statement

The Granite Technical Institute (GTI) provides high-quality career focused programs targeted at high-demand industries in Utah. The current online presence lacks the quality videos and photos necessary to showcase their educational programs. The lack of quality photos and videos is a major detriment to the technical college's ability to engage and attract potential and existing students.

This creative process is designed to keep
Granite School District
and Underbelly aligned throughout the project and focus on resolving important decisions at the least expensive point in the project.
This will take place in four phases where any phase may overlap with each other.

Timeline

Phase one: 
Discovery

Pre-Production

This is the initial planning stage of video production, where the creative concept is developed and honed. During pre-production, the team discusses vision, budget, required crew, storyboarding and script writing, legal considerations, and locations and set design. We'll be primarily focused on:

Roughly 2-4 weeks
In this phase, we often stumble upon fresh avenues and unforeseen potentials. Given the inherently explorative nature of this phase, the timeline and budget may naturally evolve. Should any shift occur, our commitment is to provide clients with immediate implications of such changes.

Phase two: 
Design

Production

This is the filming phase, where the team works together to capture the footage necessary to craft the narrative. This stage often includes setting up the cameras, making sure you have enough lighting, and recording the performance.

Roughly 2-4 weeks
Decisions made in the discovery phase may affect both time and cost estimates. If needed, new estimates will be created at that time.
Phase three: 
Develop

Post-Production

This is the editing stage, where the various elements of the production are organized, arranged, and refined.

Phase four: 
Deliver

Releasing to the World

This is the final step in the video production process, where the videos & photos are released out into the world.

Expectations

Overarching 60 Second GTI Promotional Video which includes at least: 

20 x Pictures, 6 x B-Roll Footage, Motion Graphics, Upbeat Music, Voiceover Audio

Individual 15 Second Cluster Promotional Videos (x16) which include at least: 

10 x Pictures, 3 x B-Roll Footage, Motion Graphics, Upbeat Music, Voiceover Audio

Cluster promotional videos: $10k-23k
